Welcome to GetYourCV. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, applications, and services.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our platform. By accessing or using GetYourCV, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Introduction & Agreement

This agreement is between you and ENTALEQ SUARL ("GetYourCV", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms set out the legal framework under which you may use our platform, including our website at www.getyourcv.net and our CV builder application at cvmaker.getyourcv.net (collectively, the "Service").

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy, and any applicable purchase receipt from our Merchant of Record, constitute the entire agreement between you and GetYourCV regarding the Service ("Entire Agreement").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Who We Are

GetYourCV is operated by ENTALEQ SUARL, a company registered in Tunisia.

3. Eligibility

To use the Service or register an account, you must:

  1. Be at least 16 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into a binding contract).
  2. Have the legal authority to agree to these Terms.
  3. Ensure that any payment method you use belongs to you or that you have explicit authorization to use it.

4. Honest Use & Prohibited Conduct

Accuracy of Your CV

You may not use the Service, or any of its AI-assisted features, to fabricate or overstate credentials, qualifications, degrees, certifications, employment history, or work experience that you do not hold. You represent and warrant that the information you enter describes your own background accurately.

GetYourCV is a formatting and writing-assistance tool for presenting a real background; it is not a means of inventing one.

Other Prohibited Conduct

You further agree not to:

  • Act for another person without their consent: use the Service to prepare application materials for anyone other than yourself without that person's knowledge and consent.
  • Submit unlawful or confidential material: upload, store, or generate content that is fraudulent, defamatory, or discriminatory, that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of a third party, or that you are bound to keep confidential, whether under a non-disclosure agreement or otherwise.
  • Interfere with the Service: reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, copy, or automatically extract our source code, designs, or CV templates.
  • Abuse the platform: circumvent usage limits, attempt to reach parts of our systems you are not authorised to access, or introduce malicious code.

5. AI-Assisted Features & Disclaimers

The Service includes optional AI-assisted writing tools: wording suggestions, rephrasing, spell-checking, automated CV review, and tailoring to a job description. These tools operate on the information you have already entered about your own background. We do not offer any feature that composes a CV, or any other document, on your behalf from scratch.

  • You remain the author: the tools propose, you decide. No suggestion is applied to your CV without your action, and every statement you send to an employer is one you have reviewed and adopted as your own.
  • Accuracy remains your responsibility: AI-assisted wording must describe qualifications, employment, and achievements you genuinely hold. Using these features to invent or embellish them is prohibited under section 4.
  • Output is generated automatically: suggestions and automated reviews are produced algorithmically and may contain errors, omissions, or phrasing unsuited to your situation. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying every suggestion before you send your CV to an employer.
  • No training on your data: we do not use Your Content or your CV data to train public or proprietary AI models, and our agreements with our AI providers prohibit them from doing so.

6. Payment Processors

Payments for our paid plans are taken by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments acts as the authorised reseller of our products and services. It sells our paid plans to you in its own name and is the seller named on your receipt and invoice.

  • Merchant of Record: Dodo Payments handles payments, billing inquiries, tax calculation and collection, and invoicing on our behalf. Your purchase is subject to Dodo Payments' own terms and privacy policy in addition to these Terms.
  • No Card Storage: GetYourCV never receives or stores your full credit card details. Payment details are processed directly by Dodo Payments under their terms and privacy policy.

7. Refunds

We offer an unconditional 14-day money-back guarantee. Within 14 days of a payment you may ask us for a full refund, for any reason or none. How much you have used the Service in that time makes no difference, and nothing here limits a mandatory consumer right you hold under the law of your country of residence. Our Refund Policy explains how to ask and how long it takes; it forms part of these Terms and prevails over this section on any question about refunds.

Refunds are issued by our Merchant of Record at our instruction, to your original payment method. Where a refund falls due more than 30 days after the payment, we pay it by bank transfer instead, because that is as far back as the payment network allows a card refund to reach. We may decline a refund only where there is clear evidence of abuse, such as repeated buy-and-refund cycles on the same account or card, or a fraudulent payment.

Disputes & Chargebacks

If a charge looks wrong to you, please write to [email protected] first: we answer within two business days, where a bank dispute usually takes several weeks. Nothing here limits your right to dispute a genuinely unauthorised or fraudulent charge with your bank or card issuer.

8. Your Content & Copyright

A. Your Content & Confidentiality

  • Ownership: You retain full ownership of all personal data, work experience, text, images, and information you input into your CV ("Your Content").
  • Your Finished CV Is Yours: The document you download is yours too. Send it to any employer, publish it, print it, share it — we place no restriction on what you do with your own CV, and we claim no rights over it.
  • Third-Party Rights & NDAs: You represent and warrant that Your Content does not violate any third-party copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) with past or present employers.
  • Limited License: You grant GetYourCV a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and render Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you.
  • Accuracy: You are solely responsible for ensuring that Your Content is accurate, truthful, and lawful.

B. Copyright & Intellectual Property Claims

If you believe that any material on GetYourCV infringes upon your copyright or intellectual property rights, please send a notice to [email protected] describing the alleged infringement. We will investigate and take appropriate action.

9. Service Availability & Modifications

  • Service Availability: We strive for continuous uptime and reliability, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perpetually available.
  • Modifications: We may update, add, or replace individual features to improve the product or keep it secure. If we withdraw a paid feature while you are holding a paid plan, you may ask us for a refund of the unused part of it under section 7.

10. Suspension & Termination

  • Termination by You: You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your Account Settings.
  • Termination by Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent payment activity, or misuse our platform.
  • Effect on Paid Plans: If we suspend or terminate your account for any reason not caused by your breach, we will refund the unused portion of any paid plan you are holding, on the terms set out in section 7. This is in addition to, and never instead of, the 14-day money-back guarantee.
  • Termination for Breach: If we terminate your account because you breached these Terms, no refund is due for the unused part of your plan, except where the law of your country of residence requires one. We decide this case by case and in writing; we do not treat a suspension as a way of keeping money.
  • Post-Termination: Upon account deletion, your personal data and active CVs will be permanently deleted from our active systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability & Warranties

  • "As-Is" Provision: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • No Guarantee of Employment: GetYourCV is a productivity tool for preparing application materials. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, or any other career outcome.
  • Liability Cap: To the extent permitted by law, GetYourCV's total cumulative liability for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be limited to the total amount paid by you to GetYourCV in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • Exclusion of Damages: GetYourCV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, lost career opportunities, or data loss.
  • Consumer Protections: Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights that cannot be waived or limited under applicable local consumer protection legislation.

12. Governing Law & Severability

  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Tunisia, where GetYourCV is established. If you bought as a consumer, this never deprives you of the protection of your own country's mandatory consumer law, and you may bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.
  • Your Purchase Contract: Your payment is made to our Merchant of Record, who sells our plans in its own name, so its buyer terms apply to the payment itself alongside these Terms, which govern your use of the Service.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, it is severed and the remaining provisions stay in force.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for a failure or delay in providing the Service that is caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, civil unrest, government action, or the failure of power, telecommunications, or other infrastructure we depend on. This does not excuse us from refunding money already owed to you, and it does not limit your statutory consumer rights.

14. Accounts & Security

  • Accurate Details: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when you create an account.
  • Account Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Security Breach: You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect platform evolution, legal compliance, or operational changes.

When material changes occur, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document and notify active account holders via email or through an in-app notice prior to the change becoming effective. Continued use of the Service following the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
