Welcome to GetYourCV. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, applications, and services.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our platform. By accessing or using GetYourCV, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Introduction & Agreement

This agreement is between you and ENTALEQ SUARL ("GetYourCV", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms set out the legal framework under which you may use our platform, including our website at www.getyourcv.net and our CV builder application at cvmaker.getyourcv.net (collectively, the "Service").

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy, and any applicable purchase receipt from our Merchant of Record, constitute the entire agreement between you and GetYourCV regarding the Service ("Entire Agreement").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Who We Are

GetYourCV is operated by ENTALEQ SUARL, a company registered in Tunisia.

3. Eligibility

To use the Service or register an account, you must:

  1. Be at least 16 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into a binding contract).
  2. Have the legal authority to agree to these Terms.
  3. Ensure that any payment method you use belongs to you or that you have explicit authorization to use it.

4. Accounts & Security

  • Free & Guest Access: You can build and edit your CV for free as a guest, without registering. To download your finished CV, you'll need to create a free account.
  • Account Creation: A free account lets you download your CV, save your progress, access your saved CVs across devices, purchase paid plans, and access premium features. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • Account Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Security Breach: You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. Permitted Use & Prohibited Conduct

GetYourCV grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial job-seeking purposes.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Misuse the Platform: Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, copy, or automatically extract source code, designs, or CV templates.
  • Resell or Commercialize: Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or offer our templates, AI outputs, or services as a competing product or standalone marketplace item.
  • System Abuse: Circumvent usage limits, access unauthorized server areas, or inject viruses, malware, or harmful code.
  • Unlawful or Confidential Content: Upload, store, or generate content that is fraudulent, defamatory, discriminatory, infringes on third-party intellectual property, or breaches non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) or confidentiality obligations to third parties.

6. Paid Plans, Subscriptions & Billing

GetYourCV offers a free plan that allows you to build and download your CV for free. Paid plans unlock advanced AI features and premium capabilities.

Available Plans

  1. Monthly Subscription: Billed every month and automatically renews until canceled.
  2. 3-Month Pass: A single, one-time payment granting access for three calendar months from the date of purchase. It does not renew automatically and there is nothing to cancel; access simply ends when the three months are up, and you may buy another pass at any time.
  3. Lifetime Plan: A single, one-time payment providing access for the operational lifetime of the Service (meaning for as long as GetYourCV is actively maintained and commercially offered by us), with no recurring charges.

Pricing & Taxes

  • Exact pricing, currencies, and billing terms are clearly displayed prior to checkout.
  • Depending on your location, applicable taxes (such as VAT or Sales Tax) are calculated and added at checkout in compliance with local tax laws.
  • Price Adjustments: We reserve the right to change our prices. For recurring subscriptions, any price change will be communicated at least 14 days in advance via email and will apply only upon your next renewal. You can cancel your subscription prior to the price change taking effect. Lifetime plans are never subject to price increases.

7. Payment Processors

Our order process is conducted by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record.

  • Merchant of Record: Paddle.com handles payments, billing inquiries, tax collection, and customer invoicing on our behalf. Purchases made via Paddle are subject to Paddle's own Buyer Terms and Refund Policy in addition to these Terms.
  • No Card Storage: GetYourCV never receives or stores your full credit card details. Payment details are processed directly by Paddle under their terms and privacy policy.

8. Renewal, Cancellation & Refunds

Automatic Renewal

The Monthly Subscription is the only recurring plan: it renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle using your saved payment method unless canceled before the renewal date. The 3-Month Pass and the Lifetime Plan are one-time payments and never renew. Quarterly subscriptions purchased before 2 August 2026 continue to renew on their original terms until canceled.

Cancellation

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time via your Account Settings, through your purchase receipt email from Paddle, or by emailing [email protected].
  • Cancellation stops future recurring charges. Your premium access remains active until the end of your current, already-paid billing period.
  • Canceling a subscription does not automatically issue a refund for past payments.

Refund Policy & 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

  • 14-Day Full Refund Guarantee: You may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase. No reason is required. This guarantee applies regardless of how much you have used the Service during that period — including if you have used premium or AI-powered features, generated an AI-enhanced CV, or downloaded your CV in any format. We do not ask you to waive any withdrawal or cancellation right in exchange for immediate access, and beginning to use the Service does not reduce, limit, or forfeit your right to this refund.
  • Renewal Charges: If a recurring subscription renews and you did not intend to continue, contact us within 14 days of that renewal charge and we will refund it in full and cancel the subscription. This applies to the Monthly Subscription and to Quarterly subscriptions purchased before 2 August 2026; the 3-Month Pass never renews, so it cannot produce a renewal charge.
  • How to Request: Because Paddle.com is our Merchant of Record, refunds are requested through Paddle — use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your transaction confirmation email, the support link in your receipt or account billing page, or visit paddle.net and select "Request refund". You can also email [email protected] or use our contact page. Full steps are in our Refund Policy.
  • Statutory Rights: Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on digital purchases. This guarantee extends the same 14-day window to every customer worldwide, and nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer right you hold under the law of your country of residence.
  • Limited Exception: We may decline a refund only where there is clear evidence of abuse — for example repeated buy-and-refund cycles on the same account or payment method, fraudulent or unauthorized payments, or a breach of these Terms.
  • Governing Document: Full details are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. If any conflict arises between these Terms and the Refund Policy on the subject of refunds, the Refund Policy prevails.

9. Intellectual Property & User Content

A. Your Content & Confidentiality

  • Ownership: You retain full ownership of all personal data, work experience, text, images, and information you input into your CV ("Your Content").
  • Third-Party Rights & NDAs: You represent and warrant that Your Content does not violate any third-party copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) with past or present employers.
  • Limited License: You grant GetYourCV a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and render Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you.
  • Accuracy: You are solely responsible for ensuring that Your Content is accurate, truthful, and lawful.

B. Our Content

  • Ownership: GetYourCV retains all rights, titles, and interests in and to the Service, including software, layout, user interfaces, branding, graphics, and CV template designs.
  • Template Usage: When you generate a CV using our templates, you are granted a personal license to use that output for your own job search. You may not resell or redistribute the underlying templates.

C. Copyright & Intellectual Property Claims

If you believe that any material on GetYourCV infringes upon your copyright or intellectual property rights, please send a notice to [email protected] describing the alleged infringement. We will investigate and take appropriate action.

10. AI-Assisted Features & Disclaimers

GetYourCV offers AI-powered features (e.g., text generation, rephrasing, spell-checking, automated CV analysis, and job tailoring).

  • No AI Model Training: We do not use Your Content or CV data to train public or proprietary AI models.
  • Automated Output Disclaimer: AI suggestions and automated reviews are generated algorithmically. While we strive for accuracy, AI content may occasionally contain errors, omissions, or stylistic inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all AI-generated content before sending your CV to prospective employers.
  • No Guarantee of Employment: GetYourCV is a productivity tool to help you craft professional application materials. We do not guarantee job interviews, career success, or employment offers.

11. Service Availability & Modifications

  • Service Availability: We strive for continuous uptime and reliability, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perpetually available.
  • Modifications: We may update, add, or discontinue individual features to improve user experience or maintain security. If we discontinue a material feature for which you paid, you may request a refund calculated as described below.
  • Discontinuation of the Service: If we decide to permanently shut down the Service, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email so that you can export any CV you wish to keep, and we will stop selling and stop renewing all paid plans from the date of that notice.
  • Refunds on Discontinuation: If we discontinue a material paid feature or the Service itself, you are entitled to a refund as follows:
    • Recurring subscriptions: a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of the billing period you have already paid for.
    • 3-Month Pass: a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of the three months you have already paid for.
    • Lifetime plan: a pro-rata refund calculated over a 12-month reference period starting on your purchase date — for example, if the Service is discontinued 3 months after you purchased, we refund 75% of what you paid. After 12 months from purchase, the Lifetime plan is treated as fully performed and no refund is due.

12. Suspension & Termination

  • Termination by You: You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your Account Settings.
  • Termination by Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent payment activity, or misuse our platform.
  • Effect on Paid Plans: If we terminate your account because you breached these Terms, no refund is due for the remainder of your paid period. If we suspend or terminate your account for any reason not caused by your breach, we will refund the unused portion of your current paid period — or, for a Lifetime plan, a pro-rata share calculated on the 12-month reference period described in section 11. This is in addition to, and never instead of, the 14-day money-back guarantee in section 8.
  • Post-Termination: Upon account deletion, your personal data and active CVs will be permanently deleted from our active systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Limitation of Liability & Warranties

  • "As-Is" Provision: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • Liability Cap: To the extent permitted by law, GetYourCV's total cumulative liability for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be limited to the total amount paid by you to GetYourCV in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • Exclusion of Damages: GetYourCV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, lost career opportunities, or data loss.
  • Consumer Protections: Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights that cannot be waived or limited under applicable local consumer protection legislation.

14. Governing Law, Severability & Dispute Resolution

  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tunisia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
  • Jurisdiction: Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Tunis, Tunisia.
  • Consumer Rights: You retain the full protection of any mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in providing the Service caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, epidemics, strikes, government action, changes in law, failures of power or telecommunications networks, and outages or discontinuation of essential third-party infrastructure such as hosting, payment, or AI providers.

If such an event prevents us from providing a paid feature for a continuous period of more than 30 days, you may cancel your paid plan and receive a refund calculated on the same basis as section 11. This clause does not excuse us from any obligation to refund money already owed to you, and it does not limit your statutory consumer rights.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect platform evolution, legal compliance, or operational changes.

When material changes occur, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document and notify active account holders via email or through an in-app notice prior to the change becoming effective. Continued use of the Service following the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
